The Entertainer ~ "Cyon Flare"

     “Cyon Flare” is thrilled to be a part of Mr. Gulf Coast Florida Leather 2008! From Detroit, Michigan and now living in Chicago, IL Robert started creating costumes in the early 90's, inspired by what seemed to be a disintegration of the gay scene in the Detroit area. He felt moved to make a head dress, put on some high heels and strut his stuff, making people smile in the process. Robert is NO traditional drag Queen. He has been developing his craft in cities like Chicago, San Francisco and New Orleans. Robert is currently hosting/performing, sharing the stage with Chicago's own "Miss Foozie" at Circuit night club, helping to fuse energy back into the night life, and including, this year’s International Mr. Leather (IML) 2007, Mr. Olympus 2007, and Sidetrack bar’s 15th annual “Night of 100 Drags”.
     As a host and performer, Robert/”Cyon” enjoys being a beacon of light for people and reveling in the unique connection he is able to generate with the audience while he is on stage. He encourages you all ages, both gay and straight, to LIVE in the moment and feel free to be who you are and do whatever you choose with Passion and Joy. Robert's goal for this event is to give you something you can touch within yourself, to know that you are him and he is you, Living what you Believe...so Stand Strong, Be Encouraged!
