JANUARY 2008

Pedro had a great event at THE FORGE in Ybor City on 19 January.  Together with everyone, over $1000.00 was raised.  $200.00 was donated to ASAP (from over in St. Petersburg) as Pedro's charity of choice. Thank you to Todd for all your hard work! Thank you to Bill Hoeppner, Mr. Ramrod 2006, for showing up by surprise and helping out so much. (Oh wasn't that you selling the 50/50 Draw tickets on your knees all night???)  Thank you to Bill Boyd, Mr. Gulf Coast Florida Leather 2007, for all your help and donations to the Silent Auction. Thank you to Tom, the former Mr. Colorado Leather, for selling those Jello Shooters when Pedro was busy elsewhere. Thank you to Pedro for working so hard on your first event. Thanks to THE FORGE and John and Michael for your continued support.  And most of all, a BIG THANK YOU to all those who came out to our event and gave so generously!!

FEBRUARY

We were at Winter Pride Tampa Bay's "Pride In The Park"!

Wow!! The Winter Pride event got disastrously rained out!  We were all standing in several inches of water, totally drenched and with metal-framed tents over us that we had to keep pushing the water off the top of.

However, we took all our goodies to the patio of Lounge 7.14/The Forge and still the patrons gave us about $1000.00 to completely pay the rest of Pedro's room at IML!!  Thank you so much.  Leather men are the BEST!

MARCH

Our March Event was for charity only.  We teamed with the CLAW organizers, as are many others across the country in a "CLAW Nation" effort.  The event was to raise funds for a local and a national charity.  We also held BDSM demonstrations during the evening. 

The event was held only in The Forge as the Lounge 7.14 scheduled an additional event.  We had two demos only:  an electro play demo by US Daddy 07, Eric, and US boy 07, boy earl; and a single tail frontal whipping by Mr. Gulf Coast Florida Leather 08 1st Runner Up and Tampa Bay Bondage Club member, Ross.  We also had Mr. Gulf Coast Florida Leather 07 in the dog crate and elsewhere demonstrating his unique puppy play.

Here's what we were able to earn last night:  $63.00 on donations gathered by Scott Melton, Mr. Ramrod 07, for the Swiss Navy lube sent by the CLAW organizers; $55.00 from the 50/50 draw (after $50.00 was awarded to the winner); a winner for the Recon 1-year membership, donated by Recon; and $30.00 donated for 2 tickets to the final game of the NY Yankees Spring Training games in Tampa, Florida!

APRIL

Pedro had a good night at The Forge on April 5th.  Our community helped him to raise over $250.00 for his leather for IML.  And, boy Dana provided some very skilled boot blacking.   Thanks to everyone for helping.

What's Going On In May??? 

Well, the International Mr. Leather contest, of course.  This is IML 30!! 

We will have Pedro's SEND-OFF on May 17th - "Follow the GaYbor Road...to IML!"
